These assistive technologies are now considered basic human rights by media regulators everywhere with regulations across all the major networks and broadcaster being imposed. Current mandates require almost all broadcast programming to be captioned or include audio descriptions, and new mandates are continually increasing the amount of content that needs to be adapted.

Through unsupervised learning, Iyuno trains its data augmentation and pre-processing engines by learning tasks algorithms. This includes identifying patterns in genre-specific data and spotting similarities that split that data into categories – for example documentaries, dramas series and animated cartoons.
